Outrun the Sun, Inc. is dedicated to building national awareness of melanoma and other skin cancers, educating communities about preventive measures that reduce melanoma’s incidence rate, and to raising funds for melanoma research, leading to effective treatments and a cure.
On Thursday, October 6th, Outrun the Sun will host a Melanoma Research and Education Forum at University Place Conference Center & Hotel. A cocktail reception will precede the event at 5:30pm. The Program will follow at 6:30pm. The evening's Emcee will be Barbara Lewis from Inside INdiana Business. Special guest speakers will include Douglas Schwartzentruber, MD, Indiana University Health, Aaron Mansfield, MD, Mayo Clinic, Tobias Schatton, Pharm. D. PHD, Harvard Institutes of Medicine, Yongping Shao, Kimmel Cancer Center and Michael McNees, USA Track and Field.
